FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON – November 13, 2009 – Navantis Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, proudly announced today it has received two 2009 Microsoft Canada IMPACT Awards. The two awards were presented to Navantis last night at the official IMPACT Awards ceremony by Microsoft. The seventh annual IMPACT Awards recognize excellence within the Microsoft technology partner community in Canada as well as the innovative solutions and value they deliver to customers. The IMPACT Awards also acknowledge technology partners for their achievements beyond revenue, growth and innovation, including awards for customer service, marketing and contribution to their communities.
"The IMPACT Awards is an annual opportunity to recognize and celebrate top technology partners who have shown outstanding service to customers and are paving the way for innovation in their respective fields." Corinne Sharp, National Director, Canadian Partner channel, Microsoft Canada Co.
Navantis won the awards for Core IO - Infrastructure Solution of the Year, for work done for Subaru Canada and for BPIO - Information Worker Solution of the Year, for the Champlain LHIN and Winchester District Memorial Hospital Physician Collaboration Solution.
These awards are in recognition of Navantis' leadership in the development of Infrastructure and Business Productivity fields, specifically the creation of an IT Roadmap for Subaru Canada and an integrated Physician Collaboration for the Winchester District Memorial Hospital and the Champlain LHIN.
The solution built for Subaru Canada was for a rich business planning exercise Navantis carried out with the automotive company, providing them a roadmap for their enterprise infrastructure, using the Microsoft Infrastructure Optimization methodology.
For the Champlain LHIN and Winchester District Memorial Hospital, Navantis leveraged the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS), Microsoft Office Communication Server (OCS), and Microsoft’s Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) to provide physicians with the ability to book resources and rooms for procedures at their local hospital immediately and before their patients leave their office. This on-the-spot booking solution replaces a complicated booking process that would often produce delays of up to two weeks to book a single procedure.
"We want to thank our customers and our team at Navantis for making these solutions outstanding successes. We also want to thank Microsoft for creating robust, enterprise-class technology and for rewarding its partners with the IMPACT Awards," said Jason Martin, President and Co-founder, Navantis Inc. "Microsoft's Partner Network is the best in the industry."
