NAVANTIS HEALTHCARE - WINNER OF THE MICROSOFT IGNITE IT AWARDS, TWO YEARS IN A ROW
| In 2008, Navantis was awarded the Ignite IT Award by Microsoft TechNet for the Critical Care Information System (CCIS) solution, built for the University Health Network (UHN). The UHN contracted Navantis to specify, build, integrate, and deploy a province-wide initiative (CCIS) to retrieve patient stay and acuity data from participating hospital systems and analyze and evaluate them using a sophisticated Business Intelligence suite. CCIS has successfully been rolled to all CCU and ICU units in Ontario.

| In 2009, Navantis won the award again, this time for the Community Caregiver Connect Portal solution, built for the Victorian Order of Nurses. Navantis was selected by VON to build an integrated health services web-based caregiver community portal, using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, to provide a medium where communication between doctors, nurses, and patients is possible. The solution has alleviated the burden on Canada’s caregiver and healthcare community by enhancing autonomy, independence, and quality of life for caregivers and their patients.
