We are looking for a senior .NET developer with strong skills in C# and ASP.NET. Your deep experience using Visual Studio.NET, the .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server are core requirements for the position. If you have great interpersonal skills and the ability to learn new products and environments quickly, you are the person we're looking for.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Your knowledge of, and experience with, the following technologies and platforms in a real project context is essential:
3+ years .NET development experience focusing on C#, .NET and ASP.NET
3+ years SQL Server 2000
Knowledge of ADO.NET is essential
VB.NET skills would be an asset
SQL Reporting Services would be considered an asset
Experience using XML and XSLT
Knowledge of other development tools, languages and environments (J2EE/Java, Crystal Reports, ColdFusion) are a definite asset
Your knowledge of software development methodology and the software development lifecycle may include one or more of the following:
Must be familiar with typical software development methodology (Unified Process, UML, etc.)
Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Evo)
Microsoft Solution Framework (MSF)
Your soft skills will include (but are not limited to):
Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work
Proven ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
Excellent oral communication skills with experience in creating clear concise documentation
The ability to architect a solution independently is an asset
Your experience and qualifications will include (but are not limited to):
5+ years general software development experience
University degree/college diploma in Computer Science or related major
A relevant Microsoft certification (MCAD or similar)
