Navantis is looking for Senior Architects to work along side our customers to design and develop innovative technology solutions.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Architects will be responsible for providing high level development expertise, technical guidance and mentoring for multi-million dollar projects. If you have great interpersonal skills and the ability to learn new products and environments quickly, you are the person we’re looking for!

 
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years .NET development experience focusing on C# and ASP.NET
• 5+ years SQL Server 2000/2005
• Experience using XML and XSLT
• 5+ years general software development experience
• Knowledge of other development tools, languages and environments are a definite asset
• University degree/college diploma in Computer Science or related major

Additional Qualifications:

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (MCAD or similar)
• Must be familiar with typical software development methodology (Unified Process, UML, OO methodologies etc.)
• Preference given to those candidates that have experience designing and deploying on Microsoft platforms, such as SharePoint 2003, 2007, Biztalk, Commerce Server etc.
• Preference is given to candidates with the ability to architect a solution independently
• Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent oral communication skills with experience in creating clear concise documentation
